Tonight –  DJ Firth sits in with Erin & Charles, brings along a few songs, and world premieres his latest Mashup!

 

10312413_512728748849009_2456177700365003107_nCharles & Erin talk to DJ Firth about being a Mashup DJ.    Charles asks about how a young DJ of 15yrs old got into Mashups.   DJ Firth tells us about having a father who is Nightclub DJ and growing up in DJ culture.   Charles, Erin and DJ Firth talk about differences in mashup culture across countries.  (Firth patiently points out that Scotland is not England)   Everyone talks about choosing songs for a mashup and some of the choices a DJ makes when putting together a song.  DJ Firth talks about what it’s like to be a working DJ and what he enjoys about his work and the influences in his music.
